Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt have booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2025 Women’s President Federation Cup after a tense 3-1 penalty shootout victory over Remo Stars Ladies. The quarter-final clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City had ended 1-1 in regulation time.

 

In another dominant performance, Nasarawa Amazons cruised past Sunshine Queens with a comprehensive 4-0 win to secure their semi-final spot.

 

Elsewhere, Ibom Angels edged Heartland Queens 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 stalemate in normal time.

 

Meanwhile, defending NWFL champions Edo Queens narrowly defeated Unification Ladies 1-0. Goodness Osigwe’s penalty sealed the win in a hard-fought encounter.
