Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, is gearing up to release a new EP titled “Ogo Wanted”, inspired by his recent controversies with the Ogun State government. The project is expected to provide his side of the story through music.

Portable has been in the spotlight due to his alleged confrontations with Ogun State officials. In a teaser shared on Instagram, he hinted that the EP will detail his experiences, boldly claiming that his musical success is more lucrative than the illicit earnings of Yahoo boys.

The drama escalated last week when Portable was declared wanted by the police for allegedly assaulting state officials. He later surrendered at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba and was subsequently transferred to the Ogun State Police headquarters.

On Friday, Portable faced five-count charges related to conspiracy, assault, restriction, and conduct likely to cause harm, including allegations of using cutlasses and guns. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of two million naira with a surety of the same amount. The court adjourned the case to March 5 for further proceedings.
