Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has been left battered and bruised after a vicious attack by area boys at an event in Iju-Ishaga, Lagos State, on Sunday.

The singer, known for his outspoken and flamboyant personality, was attending a party to celebrate a friend's success as a car vendor when the incident occurred.

According to Portable, who shared his ordeal in a viral video, he was forced to leave the party hastily after some individuals took offense at his antics. The singer claimed that his attackers stole several pricey items, including jewelry, an ATM card, and two iPhones belonging to one of his managers.

Portable also revealed that some of his crew members are still missing, and he has called on the celebrant to intervene and retrieve his stolen items.

The attack comes just days after Portable celebrated the birth of his child on social media, sparking concerns about his safety and security.

In a heartfelt plea, Portable wrote: "I haven't seen some of my artistes since the attack... God no go shame us. All these people are evil, na so them achieve me."

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of celebrities and the growing menace of area boys in Lagos State.
