Veteran Nollywood actor Patrick Doyle has expressed his disapproval of singer Davido’s outfit during his visit to the palace of Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

Davido performed at the ‘Warri Again’ concert in Delta over the weekend, marking a return after a previous legal dispute with former Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick, who had filed a N2.3 billion breach of contract suit against him for not performing at the 2023 event.

It appears that Davido has since resolved his legal issues with Pinnick, as he successfully performed at the 2024 concert. Prior to his performance, he visited the monarch alongside Pinnick, singer Phyno, comedian AY Makun, and Cubana Chief Priest.

In response to photos of Davido with the monarch, Doyle, a Delta State native, criticized the singer’s choice of attire, calling it “inappropriate” for a royal occasion.
