Ozalla Emerge Champions Of Ginger Sam Stadium Center After 2-1 Win In 'Anambra Derby' Versus Hopeland FA

Michael Abraham scored twice as Ozalla FA defeated Hopeland FA in the final match of the Ginger Sam Stadium, Umuahia Center of the ongoing NLO U19 Youth playoffs, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.
Abraham thus, became the major talking point of the the thrilling playoffs at the Center following his free scoring quality which saw him score eight goals in three matches.
The 2023 Anambra FA Cup winners will now travel to Awka to face the winners of the Awka City Stadium Center.
The coach Felix Ibe side won all their three games in Umuahia, first with an emphatic 7-1 thumping of Platinum FC, followed it up with a 2-0 win against Rangels FA of Achina before Thursday's 2-1 triumph over Hopeland.
Ikenna Osueke, financier of the side, said 'it can only be God' when Exclusivenews.com.ng cornered him after the feisty clash.
"We give God all the glory because 'it can only be Him alone that can do this' for us", a delighted Osueke said.
"I knew it was going to be a difficult game. But like I said before the game, we came to 'physically' play the match because, God had already determined who will win.
"I'm happy that we turned out to be the team that God decided that should win. I'm grateful to Him and I also commend the players for a job well done".
The winner in Sunday's match in Awka will earn promotion to the NLO1 next year.
