Nigeria’s Goodness Osigwe rounded off her debut season in Sweden on a high, scoring her first-ever goal for Djurgården in their commanding 3–0 win over Växjö DFF on Sunday as the 2025 league campaign came to an end.

 

Djurgården started strongly, taking the lead in the 12th minute through Urara Watanabe, who calmly finished to put the hosts ahead.

 

The momentum continued after the break, with Mimmi Wahlström doubling the advantage in the 50th minute to make it 2–0.

 

Osigwe, who moved to Djurgården from Edo Queens, entered the match in the 70th minute, replacing Lucia Duras.

 

The Nigerian forward made an immediate impact, scoring in the 90th minute with a composed finish to register her maiden goal for the Swedish side and seal the 3–0 victory.

 

Djurgården ended the season in fourth place, finishing seven points behind Malmö FF, who clinched the league’s final European qualification slot.
