Onitsha High School and Metropolitan College tops Various Groups as Dozek Inter School Football Championship Enters Semifinal Stage

The ongoing 2024 edition of the annual Dozek School Football Championship will this week enter the semi finals stage. The football fiesta featuring eight schools have seen the contenders separated from the pretenders.
The semi-final matches which will be played on Thursday, 16th May 2024 at the Washington Memorial Grammar School will see Onitsha High School who topped the group A take on Modebe Memorial High School who finished second in group B while the winner of group B, Metropolitan College will slug it out with Blessed Child School who finished second in group A for a place in the finals.
The competition which was initiated by an Ex-Rangers player and former board member of the Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA) Emeka Ralph (Sarafi) is being bankrolled by Chief Donatus Nzekwesi, an old boy of the Christ the King College (CKC) Onitsha and MD/CEO of Dozek Group Realtors.
The winner is expected to smile home with the sum of one hundred thousand naira, while the first and second runners-up goes home with the sum of N50,000 and N30,000 respectively with other consolation prizes as Most Valuable Player (MVP), Highest Goal Scorer and Best Behaved Team Gong to be won on the final day of the competition.
