Nollywood actress Omo Local has shared the emotional story behind the collapse of her marriage, revealing that the betrayal of her best friend played a central role.

 

According to the actress, she was five months pregnant when she discovered that her close friend was also expecting a child with her husband, who was three months along. The revelation, she said, was devastating and left her emotionally overwhelmed. Omo Local admitted that the situation pushed her to the brink, even considering taking her own life as she struggled to process the betrayal and surrounding drama.

 

Ultimately, she decided to leave the marriage to protect both her peace and the wellbeing of her unborn child. Despite the heartbreak, she described a complex mix of emotions, noting that she was present when her former friend gave birth and even brought gifts for the newborn at the time.

 

Omo Local added that she no longer knows the current status of her ex-husband’s relationship with her former friend but confirmed that the pair now have at least three children together.
