Olakunle Churchill Confirms Reconciliation With Tonto Dikeh After 10 Years

Businessman Olakunle Churchill has broken his silence on his reconciliation with his ex-wife and Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, confirming that they have made peace after more than a decade of conflict.
Churchill’s confirmation comes days after Tonto Dikeh surprised many on Saturday, January 24, 2024, when she publicly announced that she and her former husband had reconciled following years of public disputes.
In a heartfelt post shared on Sunday, January 25, Churchill reflected on the emotional journey that led to their reunion and expressed gratitude for the renewed relationship with his son, King Andre.
“I was surprised when I received a call from my son, for the first time. Hearing him call me ‘Daddy’ was deeply touching and a reminder that what God cannot do does not exist,” Churchill wrote.
He described the reconciliation as a product of faith, forgiveness and humility, noting that it had opened the door to peace and mutual understanding between him and his ex-wife.
“Faith has a way of bringing clarity, humility, and peace. Forgiveness has paved the way for a new chapter, and we are moving forward with a sense of peace and mutual respect,” he said.
Churchill added that both parties have now put their past conflicts behind them and are committed to co-parenting their son with love and care.
“The conflict is behind us, and we are now focused on co-parenting with love, care, and a shared commitment to raising our son. I am grateful to have my son back in my life,” he stated.
He also thanked Tonto Dikeh for her role as a mother, describing her as “the amazing mother of my son” and commending her for doing a good job.
The reconciliation marks a significant turning point in the long-running and highly publicised feud between the former couple, which had played out on social media and in the public eye for years.
