Chief Coach of Abia Comets FC, Okechukwu Ejeh, has officially announced the end of his tenure with the Umuahia-based club, declaring his availability for new coaching opportunities.

Ejeh, who guided Abia Comets for two seasons in Nigeria’s second-tier league, expressed deep appreciation to the club’s chairman, Chief Boniface Alozie Uche, for the trust and opportunity to lead the team.

Reflecting on his time with the Comets, Coach Ejeh oversaw 38 competitive matches, achieving 13 wins and 16 draws. Under his leadership, the team went on an impressive 12-match unbeaten run during the 2023/2024 season and followed up with another 8-match unbeaten streak in the 2024/2025 campaign. He was the NNL Coach of Month in January.

A seasoned tactician with a military background, Ejeh brings a wealth of experience and qualifications, including a CAF coaching license, an Advanced Coaching Certificate from the National Institute for Sports (NIS), and various certifications from LaLiga. He also holds a diploma in Law from the University of Maiduguri.

With his track record of discipline, consistency, and team development, Coach Ejeh is now open to discussions with any club seeking a proven, ambitious leader to drive their footballing project forward.
