Anambra state born football stakeholder and French Language Instructor, Ifeanyi Ojukwu, has called on the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, to 'restructure' the state owned football club, Solution FC.

Ojukwu made the call in Abuja over the weekend while fielding questions from journalists on the state of football in Anambra.

Ojukwu stated that Solution FC which is being managed by the Anambra State Sports Development Commission (ASSDC) is being poorly administered, stressing that there is urgent need for the club to operate directly from the Office of the Governor of Anambra State or the Office of the Deputy Governor for it to achieve its objective of playing in the top echelon of the Nigerian club football, the Nigeria Premier Football League, (NPFL).

Ojukwu, a one-time Chief Protocol to the former Deputy Governor of Anambra State also stated that the sports commission is fully engaged with other state sporting programmes and as well does not have the right personnel and time that could effectively manage the affairs of football nor give the necessary attention to the club's operation.

He described as 'below par' the performance of Solution FC in the last 2024/25 NNL season where the club finished 5th on the log and attributed the slack in performance to the sacking of Cameroonian tactician, Emmanuel Deutsch midway through the season for asking for a better welfare package at a time the club was second on the NNL table.

Ojukwu said that now is the right time to effect positive changes in the operations of the club before the commencement of the 2025/2026 NNL season in order to stand the team on the right pedestal to make the playoff mark with a view to to qualify to play in the NPFL next season.

He eulogized the Anambra FA Chairman, Chikelue Iloenyosi for his initiatives and programmes that have taken Anambra football to the next level while emphasizing that his wealth of experience in the game can aid Solution FC's qualification for the top tier league come next season.
