A heated online exchange has erupted between Nigerian rappers Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez, as both artists vie for the unofficial title of Nigeria’s top rapper.

The dispute began on X (formerly Twitter) when Blaqbonez made it clear he had no interest in social media feuds. “ENTER STUDIO & GET TF OUT MY MENTIONS. THIS NO BE TWITTER WARFARE & STOP CALLING THE WHOLE INDUSTRY CRYING ABOUT ME. NO BE SO KENDRICK LAMAR DEY DO,” he wrote.

In response, Odumodublvck fired back, questioning Blaqbonez’s credibility and mental toughness: “IF RAP HARD FOR ME, YOUR LAST HIT NO GO DE WITH ME. I AM EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO BE NIGGA. YOUR SPIRIT IS WEAK.”

The public spat quickly gained traction online, sparking intense fan debates, trending hashtags, and even informal polls across social media platforms. Supporters of both rappers have passionately weighed in, offering contrasting views on who deserves the crown.

One user threw support behind Blaqbonez, writing:
“Nigerians are too quick to disrespect talents for a trend. Blaqbonez is versatile and can fit into every era of hip hop. Odumodu can’t be a star in a sane country that doesn’t glorify vulgar street music.”

Another fan sided with Odumodublvck, saying:
“This one no be argument—just stupidity to compare Blaqbonez to Big Kala Gy. Even Davido talk am say Od nah the biggest rapper in Nigeria right now. Let’s not argue this.”

While the feud remains confined to social media, fans are speculating whether it could escalate into diss tracks—an age-old tradition in rap culture that often settles such disputes on wax rather than on timelines.

As of press time, neither artist has announced plans for a studio response, but with tensions still high, many are watching closely to see who will make the next move.
