Nwanna Okechukwu has expressed immense joy after playing a key role in Telecom SC’s stunning elimination of African giants Al Ahly from the Egyptian Cup, describing the match as one of the biggest moments of his career.

“I feel so happy that I am among the team that eliminated Al Ahly from the Egyptian Cup,” Nwanna said. “It was one of the high-profile matches I have played in my career, and it is now in the history books that I was part of this epoch-making team. My happiness is that everyone is happy.”

The Nigerian attacker added that the victory has elevated his standing among fans and observers in Egypt. “My performance has given football fans the opportunity to rate me among the best in the Egyptian league. It was a double celebration for me, as the match was played the same day the Super Eagles defeated Tunisia at the AFCON. I know I will soon be part of that team,” he said confidently.
