Technical Adviser of Doma United FC Akinade Onigbinde has asserted that his team will finish the 2023 NPFL Season powerfully. 

Onigbinde told exclusivenews.com.ng that his team which missed the Super 6 last season at the last minute, will be among the top contenders in the league this season. 

Quoting his words the former Head Coach of FRSC FC in the NNL said the league is a marathon where the end only justifies the means "we will continue to remain focused, and approaching all games with the needed attention, and at the end of the season, we will take stock based on our performance which will be positive". 

Doma United who are presently occupying the top position of the League after shooting down  Plateau United on Matchday 9 of the Nigeria Premier Football League. 

In the match played at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe, the Savannah Tigers consolidated on the win they recorded against champions Enyimba International during the midweek rescheduled match.

Doma playing in front of their home fans dominated the game and they were able to open the scoring in the 22nd minute through Andrew Majalisa.

The Jos-based side put up an impressive performance, especially in the second stanza of the game with the ball-throwing ability of Itodo putting the host under pressure.

The host backline put in an impressive performance to nullify all the attacking threats of Plateau United as the game ended 1-0.
