NPFL U17 Tournament: NFF Technical Director Rates Tournament High

Austin Eguavoen has said that the npfl U17 Youth League will usher in the next generation of Nigerian footballers with what was on display at the closing games in Lafia.
The NFF Technical Director, who was in Lafia to watch the closing games of the North Central zones was impressed by the young players paraded by all the teams.
“As a product of initiatives likes this I believe the u17 Youth League is what the nation needs to boost the growth of football and the discovery of young talents that would take the world of football by storm”.
“I have seen some players here in Lafia and trust me, they’ve been marked for national assignments and I would love to congratulate Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye for this program which if sustained will be the bedrock of a very solid premier league, he concluded”.
Austin Eguavoen a former Coach and player of the Super Eagles saw the games as Niger Tornadoes defeated Lobi Stars while Plateau United defeated Kwara United to pick the sole ticket of the center.
