Former Plateau United FC and Nigerian International, Nathaniel Anyawale has showered praises on the Honourable Gbenga Elegbeleye led Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL board, over the Youth League All-Star project.

He made this expression after Team NPFL thrashed Legacy Football Academy 3-1 at the main bowl of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

"I sincerely commend the NPFL board for being able to assemble great talents in such a short space of time, said coach Nathaniel.

"The benefits of such projects is always massive and the league clubs would definitely emerge the major beneficiaries."

The newly appointed Technical Director of Legacy Football Academy who also played for several league clubs like Sharks FC, Rangers Int'l and Calabar Rivers, maintains that the initiative would not only expose our domestic league to the world stage, but also curb age cheats.

"This project is capable of showcasing Nigerian talents to the outside world at the end of the day.

"It will also help in reducing the effects of age cheats in age grade tournaments."
