Nasarawa United's revelation of the season Kumater Shina yet again inspired a relegation threatened Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia to a thrilling 3-2 victory in what would eventually become their most important victory of a seemingly challenged season as the solid miners confirmed their top flight status for next season thanks to goals from Kumater Shina, league topscorer Anas Yusuf and returnee striker Idris Ajiya.

The much anticipated clash was being staged at the Pantami stadium Gombe state and the early tonic from the ever impressive Kumater was established as early as in the 6th minute having latched on to a rebound strike to put the solid miners in front as they built upon for sheer dominance prior to Anas Yusuf's goal from the spot- a goal inititiated by the heavily involved Kumater.

The versatile young midfielder who's made a whooping 32 league appearances for the coach Salisu Yusuf led outfit made it back to back scoring spree having scored on matchday week 36 against NNL bound Lobi Stars FC at the  Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium 4 days ago has been a delight to behold in his debut season. 

The solid miners having been pegged by Enyimba FC cancelling their 2 goal lead had to rely on the brilliance of Kumater Shina midway into the second half when he won a vital aerial duel in the opponent's final third for striker Idris Ajiya to capitalize on who iced the cake for the lafia based outfit-a goal that would eventually seal their top flight status for next season, a news that brought endless jubilation to teeming fanbase of Nasarawa United FC as it filtered from far away Gombe to Lafia City.

The impact of Kumater Shina to Nasarawa United's NPFL survival cannot be overemphasized, having being saddled with huge tactical responsibilities at different positions as thr league season whittles to it's climax, the question should be; can the Solid Miners retain the services of their most consistent asset come next season?
