Katsina United influential midfielder Azeez Falolu maintains the fact that he was optimistic the changi boys were not just in owerri to make up the numbers but had the right mindset of getting something from their hosts prior to a matchday 4 engagement between Heartland FC and visiting Katsina United as the visitors resiliently settled for a 1-1 share of the spoils with their hosts at the Dan Anyiam stadium yesterday October 22. 

The diminutive midfielder who was introduced in the second half by coach Tony Bulus practically changed the tempo of the contest for the visitors from the state of hospitality who trailed by a lone goal going into the halftime break, the influence and dexterity of Azeez Falolu was pretty visible in the middle of the park for the changi boys, subsequently contributing to the cornerkick set piece that led to their long awaited equaliser in the last quarter of the match, thanks to Michael Ibe's brilliance.

Speaking to ExclusiveNews via phone conversation, the charismatic midfielder expressed optimism and possibilities ahead for Katsina United as they shift focus to match day 5 with somewhat of a tricky visit of a very difficult and recently wounded Sunshine Stars of Akure. 

"We knew the game against Heartland won't be easy, and coming off the bench was the decision of the gaffer himself, which I believe was tactical, eventually it yielded dividends for the entire team. We'll do better against Sunshine Stars at home, we need to give our fans something to cheer upon at home before embarking on two away fixtures for matchday 6 and 7 respectively".

Katsina United have got a tricky matchday 5 fixture at home against visiting Sunshine Stars, but their recent exploits at the dreaded Muhammadu Dikko stadium Katsina should be a reason for concern for coach Edith Agoye-led Sunshine Stars.
