NPFL: El-Kanemi Warriors Benefiting from Poor Borno Stadium Pitch – Abdallah
Kano Pillars coach, Usman Abdallah, has claimed that the substandard playing surface at the Borno Stadium, home of El-Kanemi Warriors, gives the hosts an unfair advantage in their matches.
Speaking ahead of the NPFL clash between Kano Pillars and El-Kanemi Warriors, Abdallah expressed concern over the condition of the pitch, describing it as unfavorable for visiting teams.
“The playing surface of the Borno Stadium is not in good condition. This situation naturally gives the home team an advantage over away teams who are not used to the turf,” Abdallah stated.
Abdallah, a former coach of Enyimba International, highlighted the importance of fair playing conditions and called for improvements to the pitch to ensure a level playing field for all teams competing in the league.
The remarks have sparked discussions about the quality of stadium facilities in the NPFL and their impact on the performance of both home and away teams.
