Kano Pillars Chairman Alhaji Alinayara Mai Samba expressed confidence in his team’s resurgence following a challenging period, as Ahmed Musa scored a brace to secure a decisive victory against Sunshine Stars.

After suffering consecutive defeats to Abia Warriors in Matchday 4, Kano Pillars aimed to bounce back in their Matchday 5 clash at Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina. To bolster the squad, they welcomed Super Eagles stars Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi for the encounter.

Alinayara highlighted the club’s commitment to improvement, assuring fans that Kano Pillars would recover swiftly from their setbacks. “We are focused and determined to enhance the team’s performance,” he stated.

Reflecting on his return to the club, Ahmed Musa expressed his gratitude. “I’m back in familiar colors, and it feels great.
