The 10th-anniversary celebration of the Inside Nollywood International Film Festival & Awards (INIFFAA) in Abuja is set to unite the burgeoning Nollywood industry with indigenous sports. The convener, Mr. Femi Abioye, aims to integrate traditional sports, specifically Wrestling (kokowa) and Boxing (Dambe), into the event, showcasing a "Sport Meet Nollywood Industry" Masterclass. The Indigenous Sports Week will feature an invitational championship with winners earning "The Jagaban Championship Belt."

The championship challenge, comprising 12 invited fighters in both traditional wrestling and boxing, promises cash prizes, belts, and other awards. The event will also include music, dance performances, face painting, and funfare activities.

Mr. Abioye encourages sponsors to seize the opportunity to exhibit their products during the two-day event, emphasizing the synergy between sports and Nollywood as a platform for brand visibility.

Furthermore, the celebration will recognize excellence in three categories: Best Documentary Film with a sports theme, Best Advertising using Nigeria Sport icons, and a Special Recognition Award.

The festivities are scheduled to take place from February 15th to the 17th at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua Center in Abuja.
