Halima Abubakar has issued a formal apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries for spreading false information and causing harm via social media.

The controversy began in 2022 when Abubakar fell ill after an alleged altercation with Suleman. Her family accused him of involvement, sparking a public feud.

Abubakar has since retracted her statements, admitting to spreading falsehood and expressing deep regret for tarnishing Suleman's image.

In a letter to Suleman, Abubakar wrote:

"I admit making false allegations... I regret my actions and the damage caused to you, your family, and the Omega Fire Ministry... I humbly ask for forgiveness."

Abubakar acknowledged her apology cannot undo the harm but hopes it can begin to repair the damage.
