There really is nothing more likely to get you off your seat than watching a speedy winger scorch past a full-back, get to the byline and fire in a juicy cross for the onrushing striker.

Abia Comets pacy winger Ebuka Laz is a defining figure for the umuahia based outfit in the ongoing NNL season. There are two defining truths when it comes to Ebuka Laz, firstly he's having a roller coaster season with Abia Comets in the NNL,  Secondly, he was meant for a lot more than he has delivered. 

Boasting of three sublime goals this season in the NNL, the imo state born attacker complements Coach Ejeh's attacking set-up on match days with his blistering pace and skills, a rare feat gallantly showcased in ikenne against high flying Beyond Limits some months ago and most recently over the weekend in umuahia against visiting Abeokuta stormers, when the keenly contested match was seemingly destined for a stalemate, the ever reliable Ebuka Laz stepped up to the occasion with his routine dazzling runs and was inevitably clipped down by the opposition defenders. 

The resultant set piece duty fell on the legs of the gifted winger who expertly delivered a last gasp killer blow as goalkeeper Abayomi Sultan for Abeokuta Stormers was left rooted to the spot so helpless as the ball flew to the top corner for the game's winner sending the umuahia township stadium to a frenzy. 

He is the golden sceptre for the coach Ejeh led side with his consistency both at home and away engagements, a form the gaffer has really expressed satisfaction and confidence even as the NNL season whittles to it's climax, the best is yet to be seen off the boots of Ebuka Laz who's the unsung hero bound for strides in the NNL.
