Chairman of the Nigeria National League (NNL), Mr. George Aluo, has been honored as a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria.

The prestigious ceremony took place on Thursday in Lagos, where the Program Coordinator of the Institute, Doofan Janet Ako, praised Aluo’s remarkable track record as a journalist and sports administrator. She highlighted his transformative impact on the second-tier league, emphasizing that the Institute is proud to be associated with his achievements.

“We’re happy to bestow fellowship of the Institute on you, considering your track record as a journalist and the good work you’re doing at the NNL,” Ako stated. She further commended his efforts in revitalizing the league, making it more appealing and influential, asserting that he truly deserves the honor.

In his acceptance speech, Aluo expressed gratitude to the Institute for recognizing his contributions, describing the fellowship as a cherished honor that would further motivate his work as a journalist and sports administrator.

Aluo also took the opportunity to thank the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, for the opportunity to serve on the NFF executive board and lead the NNL. He pledged his continued dedication to elevating the domestic league to new heights alongside the NNL board.
