Like Minds FC of Gwagwalada - Abuja will battle new entrants in the league, Zeal Mind FC in  the opening matches of NLO Cup in Kano center.

The tournament which is sponsored by First Central Credit Bureau, will see Barau/Muritala FC taking on Tudun Wada FC in Group IA. In Group IB, Greenlock  FC will take on NA Royal FC, while FC Sheika battles Kwakwasiya FC. All the matches will be played at the Sani Abacha Stadium on 24 November.

In Group 2A,at the Uyo Township Stadium, Roro FC and Jaguar FC will settle scores, with Krane FC and Palm Syrup settling scores. In Group 2B Oligacy will play Vandresser Jnr, and KunKalifat taking on FC Chimosky.

According to the Chief Operating Officer of the NLO, Sola Ogunowo, the  winner of Group 1A will play winner of Group 1B. While the Winner of 2A will play winner of 2B, to determine the overall winner of the Groups on 28 November.

He said that the final match will be played at the Bwari Township Stadium, Abuja on 9th December.
