The Nationwide League One (NLO) has reaffirmed that the registration for the 2025 season will officially close on March 30, 2025, with no room for an extension.

In a statement issued by NLO’s Chief Operating Officer, Olusola Ogunowo, the league secretariat reminded all affiliate clubs to complete their registration on time to avoid any last-minute setbacks.

“The registration deadline remains March 30, 2025, as approved by the Congress. There will be no extension,” Ogunowo stated.

Additionally, clubs are required to undergo the Pre-Competition Medical Assessment, which is scheduled to take place between March 15 and March 10, 2025.

Ogunowo further emphasized that delays in meeting deadlines have frustrated the league’s foreign partners and potential sponsors, who insist on strict adherence to the agreed timelines.

“We urge all clubs to expedite their registration processes so we can stay on track with our schedule. Any club that fails to register before the deadline risks being left out of the competition,” he added.

The league has also confirmed that the 2025 NLO season will officially kick off on April 11, 2025.
