Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has publicly lauded her senior colleague and filmmaker Funke Akindele, describing her as “unstoppable” and “undefeated” in a heartfelt message shared on Instagram.

In a post on Sunday, Nkechi shared a video of herself watching Aiyetoro Town, Akindele’s latest YouTube release, and praised the filmmaker’s enduring impact on the Nigerian film industry.

“#funkejenifaakindele, you remain a force—unstoppable, undefeated, Numero Uno. You did this so many years ago; you are doing it again. I bless God in your life, maami,” she wrote.

“Thank you for believing in me even though I have been distant… I do not take your love for granted. You are indeed a star maker. Always know that I love you beyond words.”

Her tribute follows a public apology she made in March, where she admitted that past controversies had affected both her reputation and career. She revealed losing several endorsement deals due to her controversial lifestyle and expressed a desire to live more peacefully going forward.
