Nigerian born 30 year old Cage Warrior has won the world Featherweight UFC belt beating Caique Araujo of Brazil aged 27 by technical knockout in 4 minutes 58 seconds of their 2nd round bout in London, Britain. 

The nationalized Irish fighter with the nickname ‘King Solomon’ born 15th November 1995 174cm tall and 174cm reach with 7 wins no loss and no draw was so ruthless with the Brazilian formerly fighting in the Bantamweight category born 12th July 1998 having 170cm height and 172cm reach with 6 wins 2 loses and no draw that the Ref had to push him away to stop the bout.

Gasping hard from the hard won victory with the belt on his shoulder, the Champ, King Solomon said: “Am going to rest now because I’ve been in camp for so long. I’ll wait for Dana’s call (next challenger) or meet with Nik (Bagley) in Dublin, my home town”.

Efforts to get his mother, a table water merchant in Dublin, Mary Adenike Simon to confirm whether there is a trace to his name Solomon Simon who is a famous Jewish Educator who lived 1895 to8th November 1970 and published over 30 books proved abortive as there was no contact on the line.  

King Solomon has been a no nonsense fighter who believes in stopping his   opponents within the first three rounds. His last fight before the combat with Araujo was on 26th April 2025 when he took Christian Iorga of Romania to the cleaners in 1 minute 46 seconds of the 1st round.

Last year, he won by submission from Isuan Mackenzie of Wales on 6th April 2024 in the 5th minute of the 2nd round and on 2nd November 2024 he got another submission from Walter Cogliandro of Italy in 4 minutes 51 seconds of the 3rd round.

Australian Alexander Volkanouski was known to have been champion in that category when he got a unanimous victory of 48-47; 49-46 over Diego Lopez before American President Donald Trump in Washington.

However, Patmos Media Line gathered that his mother, Mary who is known Prayer warrior of the strong tower as against her son, Solomon who is a warrior in the Caged Combat, raised prayer cells on various platforms in Ireland and Nigeria before the fight.

Our contact said Mary suspended a monthly gig to host her African Women Society until victory was achieved for King Solomon and trust Nigerians and Africans in Dublin, they painted the town red with elaborate ‘Owambe’ popping wine and looking gaily dressed in the video obtained by Patmos Media Line..

She was said not to have the ‘liver’ as Naija people describe the boldness to stare face to face with difficulties to watch her son, who she always called her boyfriend for life take the fight in Britain.
