Nigeria forward, Charity Reuben, has added another feather to her cap as her club, Al Ahly, clinched the Egyptian Women’s Cup for the first time in the team’s history.

 

Al Ahly secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over former champions Wadi Degla in a tense final that went into extra time after a goalless 90 minutes.

 

The decisive moment came when Ashrakat Adel broke free and calmly slotted the ball past the goalkeeper to seal the title for Al Ahly.

 

Reuben, who previously lifted the Nigerian FA Cup with Bayelsa Queens, played a crucial role throughout the campaign and now adds the Egyptian Cup to her growing list of achievements.
