The Oyo State Chapter of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), led by Coach Akinola Olatunji, has distributed operational licenses to registered coaches across the state's 33 local government areas. This initiative aims to eradicate unqualified coaches and ensure sanity in the football sector.

The distribution ceremony, attended by dignitaries including the Chairman of the Oyo State Football Association, HRM Oba James Odeniran, marks a significant step towards regulating coaching practices in the state. The NFCA has launched an "Operation No License, No Practice" campaign to clamp down on unregistered coaches, with the support of the state government and football authorities.

Coach Olatunji warned that any individual found training players without registering with the state association will face severe consequences. The NFCA has introduced a uniform identity card and operational license to distinguish registered coaches from unqualified ones. With over 1,394 members, the association is committed to enhancing football development in the state and protecting young players from unscrupulous coaches.
