The Nigerian Army has officially bid farewell to 15 retired generals from the Artillery Corps in a ceremony held at the Nigerian Army School of Artillery in Kachia, Kaduna State, on October 19, 2024.This group of esteemed retirees comprised 11 Major Generals and 4 Brigadier Generals, who have dedicated their lives to serving the nation.

Maj. Gen. James Myam, speaking on behalf of the retired officers, expressed his heartfelt gratitude and fulfillment, attributing their success to divine guidance and protection throughout their illustrious careers ². He also seized the opportunity to thank President Bola Tinubu for the privilege of serving the country and extended his well-wishes to Lt. Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, for continued strength and wisdom in leading the Nigerian Army.
