NFSC Boss Commiserate With Heartland FC On Death Of Coach Christian Obi

The National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Ambassador(Rev). Samuel Ikpea has joined millions of Nigeria football fans to commiserate with the management of Heartland football club over the death of its head coach, Christian Power Obi.
Heartland football club was involved in a fatal road accident while travelling to participate in TICO/Ekwueme Preseason soccer tournament. Many players got injured including Obi, an ex-Nigeria international player, who was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Ikpea in his condolence message, described the incident as one death too many happening in Nigerian football.
"While we cannot question God on His deeds, we can only beg Him to continue to protect us all and put a stop to these sad occurrences in our country.
"Nigeria Football Supporters Club, join millions of football lovers and stakeholders to lend our support and prayers to the friends and family of the deceased football tactician, and the particularly, the good people of Imo State, at this period.
We pray that God comfort his family and grant them the strength and fortitude to bear this huge loss," Ikpea prayed.
