The National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), Ambassador (Rev.) Samuel Ikpea, has praised the group's Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire chapter for their energetic support of the Super Eagles during their recent AFCON qualifying match against Benin Republic.

Ikpea expressed his gratitude in a statement, saying: "I commend you for your unwavering support, which undoubtedly contributed to the Super Eagles' 1-1 draw and subsequent AFCON qualification. Your relentless dancing and singing drowned out the opposing fans' voices, energizing our team to perform exceptionally."

Ikpea also congratulated the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) board, led by Ibrahim Gusau, for their efforts in developing Nigerian football.

The NFSC boss acknowledged the significant impact of the supporters' club on the team's performance, highlighting the importance of their role in boosting the Super Eagles' morale.
