President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau (MON), has paid a courtesy visit to former NFF chief, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Galadima (MFR), in Kano, describing him as “a leader par excellence” whose dedication to sports development in Nigeria is unmatched.

Speaking on Tuesday at Galadima’s residence in Fagge Quarters, Gusau praised the former football boss’s wealth of experience and landmark contributions, noting that his impact on the growth of football across the country remains evident.

“I feel so happy and comfortable seeing Galadima today and witnessing his steady recovery. Thanks to Almighty Allah for His mercies upon him and upon us all,” Gusau said, while praying for Galadima’s continued good health and prosperity for the benefit of Nigeria’s sports community.

In his response, Galadima expressed gratitude for the visit and assured Gusau of his improving health. He congratulated the NFF leadership and the entire football fraternity on the recent success of the Super Falcons at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, and offered prayers for the success of Nigeria’s national teams currently competing in various tournaments and qualifiers.

Gusau was accompanied on the visit by NFF Technical Committee Chairman, Alhaji Sharif Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan; Chairmen of the Yobe and Jigawa State Football Associations, Alhaji Garba Muhammad and Alhaji Sabo Abdullahi; and Vice Chairman of the Kano State Football Association, Alhaji Aminu Muhammad Chana, among others.
