Fidelis Ilechukwu and Daniel Ogunmodede, recently appointed to the Super Eagles coaching crew, have pledged to dedicate themselves to serving and working hard for the team's success. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) made the announcement following Bruno Labbadia's departure due to tax issues and contractual disputes.

Ilechukwu, the NPFL defending champion coach with Enugu Rangers, and Ogunmodede, Remo Stars' coach, will assist Augustine Eguavoen in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers. They will be joined by Tomaz Zorec (fitness trainer), Olatunji Baruwa (goalkeeper trainer), and Eboboritse Uwejamomere (match analyst).

The team will convene in Uyo on Monday to prepare for the match against the Cheetahs on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium. They will then depart for Kigali on Sunday for the Matchday 2 clash with Rwanda's Amavubi on Tuesday.

Ilechukwu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve Nigeria, promising to work hard and make the most of this chance. The new coaching crew is determined to lead the Super Eagles to success in the AFCON qualifiers.
