Neville Nnamdi Kalu known for his dribblngs, great passes and eye for goal, is a young football player who currently plays for Enyimba FC. He is considered one of the most promising talents in Nigerian football and has been labeled as the "wonder kid" of Enyimba FC.

Kalu, who is originally from Arochukwu, Abịa State, Nigeria, started his football career at a young age and quickly showcased his skills and potential. He caught the attention of Enyimba FC scouts and was invited to join their youth academy known as Enyimba Feeders.

Before joining Enyimba FC, Kalu already tested football in Spain with Fundacion Marcet. The club an academy with affiliation to FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, RCD Espanyol and some teams in Spain. Also Partners with the Thiago Alcántara foundation. It was really a quiet time for him there due to the new environment and language but after a small sided match he played, he scored 20 goals in the match (yes you read that very correct), the managements picked attention on him and he got the name “Una bestia” (a beast). But after discussion between his parents and the management, they wanted him to finish his education first so he came back home to Nigeria.

In 2020, the present Sporting Lagos head coach, Coach Biffo Abdullahi saw the young Kalu through a scout and picked interest in him. Sending him to Germany. And then the club SV Meppen, then in third division bundesliga wanted him and he was on trial, the first day he played, they picked Interest and wanted him to join them for the winter pre-season but then, COVID-19 came along and that deal failed.

Neville Nnamdi Kalu later went to US to continue his study and also doing some little job while in school. While working in the US, he was playing with some people who gathered to play on weekends and the first day he played, all the coaches were interested but the one who wanted him the most was the one he followed and it got him to DMV ELITE FC. Although they finished 2nd in the league, they now play a division above.

Back again in Spain, A scout who watched him previously in Spain, called him after trials in Spain that he should come over and see him. He could work something out and after playing a friendly match for the previous team CD don Alvaro, they had their foreign players slot full but recommended Kalu to the coach of CP Guareña who gave him a chance to play. Scoring 3 in the practice session, they offered him a contract that same night.  He played with them throughout the season and also featuring in the Copa del Rey qualification match.

The Copa del Rey game led to the then assistant Getafe manager offering the young Kalu a trial with the B team but he opted to come back home and find something stronger which led him to joining Enyimba FC.

Since joining Enyimba FC, Kalu has consistently impressed both the coaching staff and fans with his performances on the field. He has showcased exceptional speed, technical ability, and a great understanding of the game. Kalu's versatility allows him to play as a midfielder or a forward, making him a valuable asset to the team.

Despite his young age, Kalu is known for his dedication and work ethic. He is always willing to learn and improve his skills, constantly pushing himself to be better. This attitude has earned him the trust of his coaches and teammates, as well as the admiration of the fans.

Kalu's impressive performances have not gone unnoticed by the Nigerian football community. He was sometime invited to the Nigerian U-17 and U-20 national team previously and though he didn't make any of the final list, he is still considered a potential future star for the Super Eagles, the national senior team.

At such a young age, Kalu has already experienced success and is eager to take his chances to further establish himself as a key player for Enyimba FC and potentially make a mark on the international stage.
