The president of the Nigerian Ex international and professional Women football Association ACP Chioma Ajunwa was full of regret and still in shock over the demise of Ifeanyi Chiejine an ex falcon star.
” Ifeanyi was one of the brightest football player I have come across.
She was brilliant on and off the pitch of play. Her death coming so soon merely after some months we also lost Ajuma Ottache is quite painful.
My prayers are with the family and as a group of ex female football players we will not hesitate to play our role if given the opportunity like we did for the late Ottache” She stated.
Ifeanyi Chiejine had passed on earlier in the week at the young age of 36. She started her career with the Flaming flamingos that later metermophosed into Flying babes and went on to represent Nigeria in various international competitions including world cups, African games and the Olympics.
She will be dearly missed by her loved ones especially her colleagues that had spent quality time with her in the various clubs she played for.
