The National Sports Commission (NSC) has officially endorsed the Abuja All-Stars Veterans Invitational Tournament through its Local Organizing Committee (LOC).

 

In a letter dated April 24, 2025, and signed by its Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, the Commission expressed its pleasure in endorsing the tournament, which is set to take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

 

The NSC noted that the prestigious event, which gathers veteran footballers from across Nigeria, aligns perfectly with its mission to promote sports development, foster excellence, strengthen camaraderie among former footballers, and inspire the next generation of athletes.

 

The Commission also emphasized that the LOC, on behalf of the Abuja All-Stars, will seek the support and cooperation of stakeholders, individuals, and corporate organizations to ensure the tournament’s success.
