National Institute for Sports Offers Appointment to Yussuf Jubril Kenny as Coach/Sport Officer
The National Institute for Sports (NIS) has offered Mr. Yussuf Jubril Kenny an appointment as Coach/Sport Officer following a successful interview conducted recently.
According to the appointment letter cited by exclusivenews.com.ng, the appointment takes effect from the date of his assumption of duty and is subject to the terms and conditions of service applicable to staff of the Institute.
The offer is conditional upon his being certified medically fit for employment.
The Institute stated that Mr. Kenny will be eligible for confirmation after completing 24 months of satisfactory service from the date he assumes duty. He was also be required to participate in the ongoing mandatory training programmes, courses, and other capacity-building initiatives as prescribed by the Institute to support his professional development.
Mr Kenny has since been deployed to serve in Abuja office.
Mr. Kenny, a graduate of Banking and Finance from the University of Abuja, is the Chief Executive Officer of Winner Football Academy, Abuja. He previously served as Head Coach of Mailantarki Football Club in the Nigeria National League (NNL), where he recorded notable achievements, including winning the Dana Cup in Denmark and reaching the semi-finals of the Norway Cup.
He is also a member of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association, FCT Chapter, where he served as a former Assistant Training Officer (ATO).
