The Nigerian Association for the Study of Religions (NASR) is set to hold her 45th Annual Conference.
 
The NASR, founded in 1975, is an organization which encourages academic study and teaching of religions as well as providing a unique forum for frank and meaningful dialogue on inter-religious issues for mutual understanding and cooperation among Nigerians in particular and mankind in general.

The three-day conference with the theme, "Religion, Humanity and Artificial Intelligence" will hold from Tuesday, 5th to Thursday, 7th November, 2024 at the ASUU Secretariat, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.

The conference which will feature the opening ceremony and technical session has it's Keynote Speaker as Rev. Fr. Prof. B.A.C Obiefuna of the Department of Religion and Human Relations, UNIZIK; Lead Paper Presenter 1 is Prof. Jude Emeka Madu of the Department of Religion and Human Relations, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam; Lead Paper Presenter II is Prof. Abiodun Musa Aibinu, Vice-Chancellor, Summit University Offa, Kwara State.

Chief Host is UNIZIK Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Carol Arinze-Umobi; Host is the Dean, Faculty of Arts, Prof. Alvan-Ikoku Nwamara; Co-host is the Head, Department of Religion and Human Relations, UNIZIK, Rev. Fr. Prof. Dominic Obielosi.

Conveners are Prof. Lateef Kayode Adeyemo, NASR President; Dr. Andrew Philips Adega, NASR General Secretary; the LOC Chairman is Dr. Stanley Mgbemena while the LOC Secretary is Rev. Fr. Dr. Michael Muonwe.
