Kabiru Dogo, Technical Adviser of Nasarawa United, expressed puzzlement over the referee's decision to cancel his team's second-half goal in their Matchday 2 encounter with Niger Tornadoes.

"I congratulate both teams on a good game, but I'm still wondering why the goal was disallowed," Dogo said. "Only the referee can explain the reason behind the cancellation. He was closer to the action than me, so I respect his decision."

Despite the controversy, Dogo remained positive, praising his team's performance and expressing confidence in their potential. "We played good football, and I believe in my team. With time, we will improve and do better."

Niger Tornadoes' coach, Majin Mohammed, acknowledged the pressure his team faced playing their first home game in over four seasons. "The crowd's support was overwhelming, but I'm impressed with my boys' performance. It's better than nothing."

The match ended in a draw, with both teams sharing the points.
