My Parents Didn’t Know I Did BBL Until It Started Smelling” — Queen Asoka Opens Up on Surgery Ordeal

Reality TV star Queen Asoka has revealed that her parents only discovered she had undergone a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) after post-surgery complications led to a frightening health scare.

Speaking during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Queen said her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery was not impulsive but developed gradually from her long-standing ambition to become a commercial and fashion model.

According to her, while her mother supported her dreams, her father — a lawyer — had hoped his children would pursue careers in law. She recounted how her mother would secretly take her to modelling competitions and auditions. The tension at home reportedly escalated the day her father saw her featured in an Airtel advert at his office.

Determined to carve a niche for herself in the modelling industry, Queen said she felt she did not possess the conventional height and body structure associated with high-fashion models. That insecurity pushed her to consider body enhancement as a “selling point,” especially as she envisioned building a modelling career abroad.

However, what began as a calculated career move soon turned into a traumatic experience.

Queen disclosed that she developed fat necrosis, a serious complication that can occur after cosmetic procedures, leading to tissue damage. The condition left her physically distressed and emotionally withdrawn.

“I locked myself in my room,” she recalled, explaining that her sister repeatedly begged her to eat. On the second day, her sister insisted she open the door — only to notice a foul smell and leakage from the surgery site.

The alarming discovery prompted immediate concern within the household, ultimately revealing to her parents that she had undergone the BBL procedure without their knowledge.

Queen described the episode as deeply traumatising, highlighting the physical and psychological toll it took on her. She added that once her family became aware, they ensured she received proper medical care and handled the situation appropriately.

Her story has since sparked conversations about the risks associated with cosmetic surgery, the pressures within the modelling industry, and the importance of informed decisions and strong family support systems.
