Mercy Eke, winner of Big Brother Naija Season 4, has opened up on how she has managed to remain in the spotlight years after her victory on the popular reality television show.

 

Speaking in a recent interview with Odira Ndubuaku, the reality TV star said her sustained relevance is a result of hard work, focus and clarity of purpose. According to TheNewsGuru (TNG), Mercy noted that while some of her fellow housemates faded from public attention after the BBNaija buzz ended, she chose a different path.

 

Mercy explained that she has consistently put in the work and taken advantage of opportunities that came her way.

 

“I am still relevant because I put in the work. I have never turned down any money,” she said.

 

The entrepreneur and influencer also stressed the importance of discipline and staying focused on personal goals, adding that she deliberately avoids unnecessary distractions.

 

“I mind my business a lot. I work hard. I wake up with purpose. Some people wake up and they don’t have things to do, but I always have a clear picture of what to do every day,” she added.

 

Mercy Eke has remained one of the most prominent alumni of the Big Brother Naija franchise, building a successful career in entertainment, fashion and brand influencing since winning the show in 2019.
