Match Fixing : NLO Warns Mighty Jets Feeders, Wikki Tourists Feeders, Wunti Others… Alerts NFF/ICPC Anti-fraud Unit

The Nationwide League One Secretariat has issued a strict warning to teams participating in the ongoing NLO Division 1 League to be wary of involving themselves in acts that are capable of bringing the league to disrepute, especially match fixing.

The Nationwide League One Secretariat specifically, warned those in Group H that they have it on good authority that this ugly incidence is about to be hatched in Group. They said that can categorically state through their Intelligent reports that some clubs in the group are about to hatch their plans to fix a match and possibly reach a compromise with themselves.

“Our candid advice to them is not to make the attempt as any sign of compromise will be met with the full wrath of the law, as NLO has already alerted the NFF/ICPC anti-fraud unit”. Teams in Group H include Mighty Jets Feeders, Deluxe FC, Misau FC, Mafeng FC, Vet Rovers, Azuba FC, Zabgai FC, Wikki Tourists Feeders, Wunti FC, Rabham FC. Others are Damaturu FC, Super Pillars FC, Ashana FC, Makwanda Warriors, Bareta FC and Binani FC.

Matchday 12 games will be played across the country in the league this week.
