One young man wey dem identify as Hassan Dan Chanji don kill one woman, Rakiyaya, wife of one Malam Maikuddi, for Dambo village inside Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

 

One resident of the area, Malam Tukur Dambo, tell our correspondent for phone interview say the incident happen Thursday evening after quarrel start between the suspect and the woman.

 

“During the quarrel, e enter house, bring out machete, come hack the woman till she die,” Dambo talk.

 

According to am, after the woman family realise say Rakiyaya don die, dem react immediately and retaliate against the suspect.

 

“Immediately dem know say the woman don die, her relatives pursue the culprit, Hassan Dan Chanji, and beat am well well till e also die,” Dambo add.

 

He further say police don carry the bodies of both the victim and the suspect go Bakura General Hospital for autopsy.

 

“The remains of the two dead bodies don reach Bakura General Hospital as police take dem go there,” e say.

 

As at the time of filing this report, all efforts to contact the spokesperson of Zamfara State Police Command, Yazid Abubakar, for comment no succeed.
