"Make Discipline Your Watchword" Attah Tells Nigerian Coaches
The Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National League, Emmanuel Attah has advised Nigerian coaches to imbibe discipline as their watchword in discharge of their duties.
Attah who was a former Chairman of the FCT Football Association said it is only when the Coaches imbibe discipline in their duties, that such can trickle down to the players and the team in general.
The former Coordinator of the Super Eagles who spoke as the Chairman of the Business and investment seminar organised by Nigeria Football Coaches Association, FCT Chapter, i said the Business/Investment seminar came at a very auspicious time, considering the fact the coaches need to diversify in various aspects of human endeavours to make life meaningful thereafter.
The seminar which was a huge success had notable resources persons and organisations in attendance.
The Football Coaches in FCT had the opportunity to hear from business and investment experts from the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA), the Presidency and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Staff Multipurpose Co-operative Society Limited.
Speaking on the needs for football teams to undertake insurance policies, Mr Ayila Austine Waya of Alliance and General Insurance, advised teams to take group personal insurance policy to motivate and imbibe confidence in the players. Mr Steve Orji of the Abuja Enterprises Agency enumerated the benefits that the Coaches will derived from identifying with his agency.
In his presentation, the General Manager of CBN Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited Mr Pius Obianyor advised the Coaches to form themselves into a Cooperative society, to enable them enjoy the benefits of such an organisations.
