The Chairman of Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), Hajji Gafar Liameed, once again brought his football administrative experience and sagacity to the fore, as he was instrumental to stopping Lagos based side Tradesafe, from withdrawing from the Nigeria National National League (NNL).

The experienced football administrator, who spoke on behalf of the LSFA, was quick to advise the management of Tradesafe, on the need to imbibe integrity and particularly, take cognisance of the rules and regulations of the league body on the severe consequences of abrupt withdrawal from the NNL. 

Hajji Gafar, while acknowledging the the severity of pains in the nation's economy, as it affects the national life, advised the management of the team to come up stronger on the league and to forster the team's youth development programmes. 

The LSFA boss went on to encourage the Chairman of Tradesafe, and its board of directors, to rally round financially to salvage the club's present situation and of course, uphold the integrity of Tradesafe FC.

Speaking on the latest development, the team manager of Tradesafe, John Hamilton, expressed his appreciation to the leadership of LSFA for its support and encouragement.

"I want to describe the present board of the LSFA led by Hajji Gafar Liameed, for its leadership and mentorship. I believe that with the level of synergy and commitment of the LSFA board towards the development of football in Lagos State, the game would achieve higher heights. 

On the present situation bedevilling the team, he added, "We're not well placed in the NNL. However, we can come back stronger, because football, it's all about win or lose," he added.
