The Chairman, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, 3SC, Honourable David Olaniyan Akoro has released the list of retained players for the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League Season.

It would be recalled that the Shooting Stars management organized one the best unveiling programmes on Tuesday 27th August, 2024 at the club Secretariat, Jericho, Ibadan wherein 8 players were presented to newsmen with a promise to have a comprehensive unveiling of all the players on Friday, 30th August, 2024 at Adamasingba stadium but the sudden death of club's driver ,Mr Oluseye Oyeboade popularly known as Baba Pupa on Thursday, 29th August, 2024 stalled the planned programmes as a mark of respect to the departed hard working staff with the club's activities put on hold on Thursday and Friday. 

Arising from the above development, varsportnow.blogspot.com can authoritatively inform the esteemed fans of the club that the entire members of the team are already in camp in Ijebu-Ode  where the last phase of the unveiling will be taking place.

Disclosing the list of the retained players of the Honourable Olaniyan noted that 50% of the sign on fees of all their players for the current season have been paid.

Speaking with in an exclusive chat,  former Premier League referee said :

"We are unable to do the remaining Player's unveiling on Friday as scheduled due to the sudden death of our driver. Meanwhile, the team are already in camp at Ijebu-Ode where other players will be unveiled".

The soft spoken  administrator who has just been appointed as member of the Nigeria Premier League Board added that:" Almost all the players have been paid the 50% of their sign on fee this current football season.

The retained players for the new season and numbers of years are as follows:
