Nollywood actor Linc Edochie has publicly distanced himself from his wife Yinka Edochie’s recent controversial action of leaking the phone number of his younger brother’s estranged wife, May Edochie, on social media.

 

Over the weekend, Yinka stirred outrage after posting May’s personal phone number online, accusing her of allegedly giving out Yinka’s own number to her supporters — who Yinka claims have been calling to insult her. The move triggered widespread backlash, with many calling it a gross violation of privacy.

 

In a post shared on his official social media handle this morning, Linc sought to clarify his position on the matter and dissociate himself from his wife’s actions.

 

“We may not all agree with each other but we can respect one another… Better to be alone and at peace than to be in a union filled with landmines. Respect,” he wrote.

 

Though subtle, the statement clearly signals Linc’s disapproval of both the ongoing family feud and the decision to escalate tensions by releasing May’s number.

 

The actor, known for his more reserved and peace-loving public persona, emphasized the need for mutual respect and dignity, especially in private matters that spill into the public sphere.
