The captain of the victorious Super Falcons team B Evelyn Nwabuoku , shortly after landing at the Vienna Airport around 3pm Nigerian time on Monday reiterated her resolve to make an Impact at the training camp in Austria enroute France.
The Rivers Angels midfielder said that the WAFU cup victory is memorable but is now in the past and the team is condemned to perform convincingly in France.
” The stiff competition amongst the players is so healthy and the result was the over twenty goals scored in Abidjan and the close knitted defence that conceded only two goals”.
She further explained that the NFF had made sure that preparations was top notch and the Falcons were well motivated to pay back the NFF with a decent performance.
” The feel of the WAFU cup with my hands wrapped around it was very memorable and a reminder that hard work pays.

Nigeria will take on Norway, Korea and the host nation France in the group phase of the world cup with the first match against Norway on the 8th of June.
